Welcome to the winner's circle
A couple weeks ago we profiled three Brooklyn filmmakers whose works were part of the School of Visual Arts' 20th annual Dusty Film and Animation Festival, which highlighted over 100 films by students graduating from the BFA Film, Video and Animation Department.
Two of those students came away with awards this past weekend. Park Slope's Brian Gonzalez won for Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography for "Wishing, Well," and director and screenwriter Katie-Madonna Lee, of Bay Ridge, won the Women in Film Award for her feature, "Woman's Prison."
Congratulations to these talented filmmakers.
