Borough President Marty Markowitz (who just won reelection to a third term, is inviting people to be his fan on Facebook.
Since reaching the max at 5,000 friends, the best way to show your support is to become a fan. So far, 154 people have taken him up on the offer.
The site, he says, is a way to celebrate all things Brooklyn and connect with the 2.6 million Brooklynites.
Considering 224,771 people voted for Markowitz in the election, he still has a way to go in rearing up all his fans.
