Just dance this Thursday at Brooklyn Bridge Park

There’s even more Celebrate Brooklyn to love.

The Prospect Park-based performing arts festival expands to Brooklyn Bridge Park this month, with a dance party series planned for Pier 1.

Kicking things off this Thursday is Maceo Parker, a funk musician whose laid down his gritty sax lines with James Brown, Parliament-Funkadelic, Bootsy Collins and Prince. He’ll be joined by DJ Spinna (pictured), who will get you moving with a mix of old school funk and futuristic electro.

The series continues on May 19 with salsa big band La Excelencia and DJS Aue Bajo?!, and then bhangra enthusiasts Red Braat and DJ Rekha on May 26, just in time for Celebrate Brooklyn to kick off at the Prospect Park Bandshell on June 10 with Andrew Bird.

“The performers and DJs are prime examples of the diverse, world-class programming Celebrate Brooklyn is known for, and each is a treasure that exemplifies a particular genre,” said Jack Walsh, executive producer of Celebrate Brooklyn. “They all put on a great live show and lay down irresistible dance grooves.”

Don't miss this steamy dance party

Don’t put away that bathing suit for good just yet.

Party people Gemini and Scorpio give you one good reason to break out the bikini and swim trunks — their Steamy Dance Night at the Russian Baths.

This Friday, a Coney Island Avenue banya stays open late for the return of the legendary party. There will be Russian, Turkish and Swedish steam rooms, a jacuzzi, a cold plunge pool, professionals on hand for platza and massages, a poolside dance floor, rooftop smoking deck, hookah lounge and chill-out rooms for when you’re ready to dry off.

This is a dance party after all, and to help get you moving, there’ll be a live gypsy band and a Balkan/ethno-mesh DJ. Oh, and don’t forget the free pierogies and open vodka bar (what else?) from 9:30-10:30 pm.

Somehow, you’ll still manage come away cleaner than when you went in.

Labor Day Fun, Part V: Dance party

Call it Sunday Last.

The final installment of the daytime DJ-driven dance parties, Sunday Best, is this Labor Day weekend.

All summer long, the DJ crew of Doug Singer, Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin has been bringing in special guests from all over the world to get Brooklynites grooving in their flip flops in the often sweltering heat.

A Gowanus Canal-side hot spot for the past four years, the party was forced to find a new home earlier this summer after the BKLYN Yard shut down and they were unable to continue with liquor license. But the crew soon found the courtyard at Brooklyn Fire Proof in Bushwick accommodating (there’s even a disco ball hanging from the trees).

On Sept. 5, the trio will man the decks themselves and party until the sun goes down.

“It’s been a great summer. The people who come to our parties are exceptional, and they’ve made it special week after week after week,” said Carter (pictured on the right with Harkin). “We’re really looking forward to playing the entire day for them.”

That is, until next summer.

Get saved by the 'Bell'

Break out the leg warmers, Spandex and white-washed denim — school’s back in session. Bayside High School, that is.

On July 24, revisit the awesomely bad kids’ show, “Saved by the Bell,” when the seriously inspired party, “Saved by the Bell House,” comes to, yes, the Bell House.

“Since we opened, we’ve wanted to incorporate ‘Saved by the Bell,’ since our name is the Bell House,” said Heather D, director of events at the Gowanus space. “We also did an 1980s prom last year, and wanted to do another, but thought the generic ’80s prom theme was overplayed.”

So instead, come dressed as Zack, Kelly (pictured), Lisa, Jesse or Slater (but please, no Screeches), or how typical teens styled themselves during both the 1980s and ’90s — the bigger the hair, the better.

“I’m hoping to see some ’80s brick cellphones,” said Heather.

The Bell House is doing its part, too, as the venue will be decorated like a high school gymnasium decked out in the school’s colors, and a DJ will spin ’80s and ’90s dance music. There will even be a live set from The Bayside Tigers, a ’90s cover band.

If you’re lucky, they’ll even play “I’m So Excited” (don't remember? See below).
