Here's a special three-day weekend edition for you as you celebrate the last bit of summer.

Friday, September 4

Coney: sept 4 -
Rockabilly: The Coney Island Rockabilly Festival returns to Coney Island all Labor Day weekend, with pyschobilly acts, lots of burlesque, and a pin-up contest. Lots for your eyes and ears.

Saturday, September 5

Gowanus Hootenany: The Brooklyn Yard (388 Carroll St.) hosts a Brooklyn Country Fair today, replete with live music, farm fresh, food, local artisans, crazy sights (including a sword swallower and stilt walking), film screening ("O Brother Where Art Thou?") and edible treats. Doors at noon. Free.

Get stranded: Event planners Winkel & Balktick present Stranded!, a celebration of the 150th anniversary of The Origin of Species, featuring a night of artistic installations (20 and counting), games and music aboard the HMS Beagle in Sunset Park's Bush Terminal. You must RSVP in order to attend. Tickets are $10. From 10 p.m. to sunrise.

Sunday, September 7

Sunday's Last: Last Sunday the Pool Parties in Williamsburg came to a close, and today, Sunday Best at BKLYN Yard does the same. Eamon Harkin, Doug Singer and Justin Carter return as resident DJs, to be joined by DJ Harvey. Also in abundance are huaraches, sangria and dancing. From 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. $10 admission, $8 before 4 p.m. with RSVP and in advance with RSVP.

Monday, September 7

Parade: The 42nd annual West Indian Day Parade Festival returns to Flatbush Avenue today, in all its colorful, costumed glory. The parade starts at 11 a.m., with the route Utica Avenue to Grand Army Plaza along Eastern Pkwy.
