The folks at WNYC have been looking at the recession on a micro level, heading up and down Smith Street, as well as four other streets in New York City, to talk with shop owners and how their business is being affected by the economic downturn.
The most recent installment has them in Brooklyn Industries, whose owners are hopeful that now that the weather's getting warmer, more people will get out and shop.
