Brooklyn in print

Time Out New York sent dozens of photographers, artists and personalities out onto the streets of NYC with a disposable camera, capturing what they see in their daily lives.

Here's a selection of some favorite Brooklynites who participated and where they shot.

Marty Markowitz, Brooklyn borough president, shooting the Asser Levy Park free concerts in Coney Island

Christina Ewalk, one half of Williamsburg-based performance space HiChristina, shooting the area

Doug Crowell, owner of Carroll Garden's Buttermilk Channel, in Fire Island

Kevin Beard, owner of Barcade and the Gutter in Williamsburg and Greenpoint, respectively, shooting his walk around the 'burg

Seth Olenick, photographer, in Greenpoint

Diana Carlin, aka Lola Staar, in Coney Island

Sean Bones, indie reggae artist, at a secret beach in Brooklyn

Where would you shoot, if given a disposable camera?
