This week in 24/Seven

Each week we'll preview what you can expect in our 24/Seven print edition, out Thursday for you southern Brooklynites and Friday for the downtown neighborhoods.

Highlights include:

Music: The Antlers have had quite the year, on the road for most of it, but always returning home to Brooklyn. They play BAM as part of the Sounds Like Brooklyn festival February 5. Another band with a good 2009 was Here We Go Magic. They play Music Hall of Williamsburg January 29 in advance of their sophomore release. For less original fare, read about the Tribute Wars at Brooklyn Bowl that same night, with a Michael Jackson all-metal tribute band among the offerings.

Art: Jef Aerosol paints the walls in Eastern District's All Shook Up exhibition, opening January 29.

Magic: The Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture hosts a night of magic January 29, offering fun for the whole family.

Columns: Pumps & Pleats is back in Target for their Converse collection, while the Klutz, inspired by the Chicken Vera Cruz at MishMash Gourmet, a cozy eatery on Kings Highway, makes her own panini on the go, and The Reporter's Table grabs some pasta, canned tomatoes and fresh vegetables for a quick veggie pasta.

Food: We eat at Sheepshead Bay's Anatolian Gyro, a Turkish delight in Brooklyn.
