Not for Tourists
Dust off those vintage bowling shirts that have been hanging in your closet since the '90s. It's time to break 'em out for the NFT Brooklyn release party tonight at Brooklyn Bowl.
In celebration of the 2010 Brooklyn Guide, and Brooklyn on the NFT iPhone App, NFT is taking over Brooklyn Bowl for a giant blowout featuring free drinks and guides (while supplies last), and free bowling for 2 full hours (shoe rental required).
They'll also be giving away prizes from Brooklyn businesses like Cafe Grumpy, Spoonbill & Sugartown, Zenkichi, Roberta's Pizza, Joyce Bakeshop, Sprout, The Habitat, Tanoreen, and Northeast Kingdom.
The party's from 6-8 pm at Brooklyn Bowl (51 Wythe Ave.) in Williamsburg.
After bowling, stick around for the venue's benefit for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti, featuring a jam session with Robert Randolph & the Family Band. All proceeds go to the American Red Cross's Haiti Fund and Yele Haiti. Tickets are $25 (higher donation levels are available), with the show at 9:30 p.m.
