Markets on the move
Brooklyn shoppers, take note.
This weekend two popular markets are switching it up.
After their brief stint in Manhattan, starting Saturday, the Brooklyn Flea returns to the borough, moving to the former Williamsburgh Savings Bank, at One Hanson, in Fort Greene, through March 27 and 28, from 10 am - 5 pm.
Over 100 vendors will fill three floors, taking over every inch, from teller windows to even the former vault in the landmark space, with jewelry, antiques, vintage furniture, clothing, and more, as well as food, on the tables.
Speaking of food, over in Gowanus, The Park Slope Farmers' Market moves indoors, which should come as a welcome relief for those looking for fresh, local veggies.
Previously on Fifth Avenue, you can find it nearby at the Old American Can Factory (Third Street and Third Avenue), at the Makers Market, starting this Sunday until the spring, and open from 11 am to 5 pm.
Good news comes in twos, so it seems.
