Haunted bar?
Gothamist tells us that Barcade in Williamsburg was built on a burial ground. Creepy!
The two square blocks bordered by Union and Lorimer avenues and Devoe and Powers streets (Barcade is located on Union between Powers and Ainslie streets) were apparently a cemetery, known as the Old Methodist Burying Ground. The church that closed the cemetery closed in 1856, at which point the bodies moved. Scouting NY, though, wonders if a few got left behind.
Gothamist speculates that the site may be haunted, but when they asked Barcade own Paul Kermizian if he's seen anything out of the ordinary, he said, "The only ghosts we've seen have been in our Ms Pac Man game!" Whew!
