Crown Heights: Celebrate Japanese culture at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden tonight, as it "Small Scale," a night of food and music in honor of its new bonsai exhibit.

DUMBO: See what all the fuss is about with the Brooklyn Youth Chorus, which performs a new piece, "Tell the Way," composed by Nico Mulhy. Also Saturday.

Saturday, Feb. 12

Greenpoint: Just wing it at the Best Wings in Brooklyn competition at Red Star.

Bushwick: In "In the Pony Palace/FOOTBALL," a new play from Half Straddle running at the Bushwick Starr, gender politics get turned on their heads as girls play football.

Sunday, Feb. 13

Brooklyn Heights: Commenters have hailed "Frost/Nixon" the best show the Heights Players have done in years. See what all the fuss is about yourself.

Fort Greene: "Thelma and Louise" is one of those classics of American cinema, and it's screening at the Brooklyn Academy of Music today as part of a series devoted to Susan Sarandon. Stick around for the post-Q and A with Louise herself.
