Movies on the waterfront

Movies with a View isn't the only weekly outdoor film series that hosts screenings on the waterfront, with a view of the Statue of Liberty.

Tonight, Red Hook Summer Movies kick off with a screening of the 1980s kid classic, "Goonies." Films are screened on Valentino Pier, at Van Dyke, Cofeey, Ferris, Bulkhead and Pierhea streets.

Films start around 8:30 pm, with $1 popcorn from Home/Made. Here's the complete schedule:
