Find your next 'Honey'

Few Jewish holidays combine centuries of Talmudic scholarship with the elegance of Diddy’s White Party.

Enter Tu B’ Av, the recently revived Sephardic equivalent of Valentine’s Day, where Jewish men and women dress in white robes and mingle with the hopes of finding a spouse.

To help, Williamsburg’s Brooklyn Bowl is hosting “Honey Bowl” on July 27 — though white robes are not required and you don’t have to be Jewish or single to attend. But you do have to enjoy dancing, drink specials and bowling.

There’ll be raffles for free games, plus Brooklyn Bowl has the live music covered with the funky fusion sounds of Brother Joscephus and the Love Revival Revolution Orchestra (pictured); energetic reggae beats from Matisyahu’s original band, Pey Dalid; and retro-pop melodies from Derek James and the Lovely Fools.

It’s a bit strange that this Tu B’ Av event is held at a bowling alley; after all, in some ancient Judaean-Babylonian cultures, bowls were presented following a divorce in order to banish evil demons.

Then again, the Torah has Ten Commandments and bowling has 10 pins. Coincidence?
