The Weekend: 3.12-3.14

Runaways, mutts, Tennessee Williams. It's a mixed bag for you in Brooklyn this weekend. Here's a look at what's happening in a neighborhood near you.

Friday, March 12

Also try to score advance screening passes and prizes. Doors at 8 pm. Free with rsvp. Located at 184-186 Bedford Ave.

Art: Just like another Brooklyn group art show, Eastern District's latest speaks to gentrification. This ones got street artists BANK$Y (neƩ Poster Boy), NohJColey, CA$H 4, Juan Doe, Jim Kiernan, and Lucas McGowen. From 7-10 pm. Free. Located at 43 Bogart St. in Bushwick.

Theater: Think you know Tennessee Williams? Think again. The Bushwick Starr presents "The Unknown Williams," a selection of his rarest, and least producible, plays, now through March 27. Get your fill of experimental theater. Full schedule here. Tickets $10. Located at 207 Starr St.

Saturday, March 13

Trad: Get in the St. Paddy's Day spirit early with Seanchai & the Unity Squad, Gary Og and Declan McLaughlin at the 11th Annual Unrepentant Gathering at Rocky Sullivan's in Red Hook. Cause you've got a lot to be unrepentant about. At 8 pm. Located at 34 Van Dyke St.

Puppies!: Two things are better than one. With that, the Brooklyn Lyceum presents The Mutt Show, a celebration of Brooklyn's mixed breeds. No pedigrees allowed, though humans are. Watch the action today and tomorrow from 11 am-7 pm. Admission is $5. Located at 227 Fourth Ave.

Sunday, March 14
