Faith No More slated for waterfront show
It won’t be a Brooklyn band, but it’ll be sure to get you rocking this summer.
The New York Times informs us that San Francisco rock band Faith No More will kick off the Williamsburg waterfront concerts at East River State Park (North 8th Street and Kent Avenue) on July 5.
The show will serve as a benefit for the Open Space Alliance, which helps put on a free summer series (recently saved in part by none other than Chuck Schumer) at the park space.
According to the Times, this is the band’s first East Coast show in over a decade, and that in a statement the band said it hopes “the experience of playing together again will yield results erratic and unpredictable enough to live up to the legacy of Faith No More.”
Tickets go on sale March 19 at noon via Ticketmaster.
