Pool parties live on

While the Williamsburg Pool Parties had a second of crisis a few months ago, they will live on.

Gothamist shares the news that the parties will be returning to the Williamsburg waterfront this summer once again.

From the unlikely face of the campaign, Senator Chuck Schumer: "They are a big part of why summers in NYC... Summer in Brooklyn without the free JELLY Pool Parties simply would not have been the same and I am beyond thrilled to see that they will return in 2010. I can’t wait to ride my bike this summer to the East River State Park to rock out at these concerts once again.”
