Remembering Joe Maneri and his music

This February 9, the Irondale Center will hold a tribute to Joe Maneri, a Williamsburg-born jazz musician and composer who died this past summer due to complications of heart failure.

The Brooklyn native spent a lot of time up north in Boston, where he was a teacher at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston for nearly 40 years, though he was often in town for the occassional live show.
