Warm up with BRIC
BRIC is ready to cure your winter blues with the best medicine – laughter.
On February 27, the organization behind the summer festival Celebrate Brooklyn! is rearing up for the pending season with Winter Warm Up, an evening of comedy and music hosted by comedian Eugene Mirman (pictured), recently named Best New York Comedian by The Village Voice.
Joining the Park Sloper will be fellow comedians and Brooklynites Kristen Schaal (“Flight of the Conchords,” “The Daily Show”) and Michael Showalter (one half of Comedy Central’s “Michael and Michael Have Issues”), as well as other friends.
The night isn’t just about entertaining you, of course; the event also marks the kick-off to this year’s Friends of Celebrate Brooklyn membership campaign. Not a friend already? Join at the show and enter a chance to win prizes.
Tickets are $10, with the show starting at 8 pm. The Bell House is located at 149 7th St. For more information, call 718-643-6510.
