Jazz Bands: Monday's are traditionally big band nights in the city for jazz, though not necessarily in Gowanus, or Brooklyn for that matter. That changes when the Big Band Bonanza comes to the Bell House October 19, with Darcy James Argue's Secret Society, Industrial Jazz Group, and Travis Sullivan’s Bjorkestra bringing the sound.

Cabaret: Paris comes to the Galapagos when BlueNefertiti, aka Célia Faussart of the Grammy-nominated French R&B duo Les Nubians, brings a night of music inspired by the City of Lights to the DUMBO art space October 23.
