Bakers wanted

It's that time of year again.

This Saturday, October 17, the seventh annual Apple Pie Bake-Off returns to Enid's (560 Manhattan Ave.) in Greenpoint.

Bring your tried and true pie between 4 and 4:45 p.m., where judges from Brooklyn Kitchen, The Blue Stove, Py-O-My NYC, Sweet Deliverance NYC and last year's winner will be awarding cooking tools to those who take categories like Most Creative and Prettiest.

Once the judges have had a go, you can dig in, as well as enjoy homemade corn dogs and drinks.

The event starts at 5 p.m., and is free.
