This might not be the first time you’re hearing the name Gary Vaynerchuk.

A social media junkie proficient in Facebook, Twitter and webcasts, he has built up a fan base of over 80,000 online devotees as he unpretentiously gabs about wine on his video blog Wine Library TV.

On October 27, the online personality comes to the Bell House in Gowanus to talk about his latest endeavor, his book Crush It! Why NOW Is the Time to Cash In on Your Passion, which focuses on a high level strategy for turning your non-day job into a day job.

The event will also feature behind-the-scenes video footage from Vaynerchuk, dubbed the “Social Media Sommelier,” as well as an after party with a DJ.
