Kitchen Klutz: Chocolate beer cake recipe

Chocolate Beer Cake


1 3/4 cup cake flour

1/3 cup butter

2 egg yolks

4 squares chocolate

1 cup beer

1 cup sugar

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1/4 tsp. salt

2 egg whites


Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Cream sugar and butter in a mixing bowl. Beat egg yolks then pour in bowl. Add chocolate. Add dry ingredients and beer to the bowl. Mix, then add egg whites. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes.
