This week in 24/Seven
Each week we'll preview what you can expect in our 24/Seven print edition, out Thursday for you southern Brooklynites and Friday for the downtown neighborhoods.
Highlights include:
Holidays: We bring you the best of the holiday sights and shopping this season in Brooklyn, as well as some DIY workshops and events. Cookies, anyone?
Festival of Lights: From dreidel tourneys to a Sephardic Music Festival, Hanukkah is fun in Brooklyn.
Music: Rock out with the Park Slope Rock School, Gowanus Music Club and Brooklyn Kids Rock, three local "schools of rock" that will have kids channeling their inner rock star on stage this month. At Southpaw December 12 and the Bell House December 20.
Film: The Zero Film Festival lands in Brooklyn this music, with five days of screenings from December 9-13 around the borough.
Columns: Pumps & Pleats checks into Bump, a Park Slope boutique that's helping moms-to-be stay stylish while their bellies expand, while the Klutz indulges in her guilty pleasure: fried onions.
For these stories and more, pick up a copy in your nabe or check back here later this week!
