Summer goes out with a bang at the BBQ Blowout
Summer’s winding down, but don’t let it go by with a wimper. Send it out with a carnivorous bang with the quintessential season tradition — the barbeque — at Good Company’s BBQ Blowout.
All summer long, the party promoters at Finger on the Pulse have been pairing the city’s hottest chefs with celebrity DJs at the Williamsburg restaurant for some first-rate grub and music to help you dance it off.
On Aug. 25, Carroll Gardens hotspot Frankies Spuntino is in the hotseat, serving up simple yet flavorful Italian fare. The two Frankies — Frank Falcinelli and Frank Castronovo — will create a menu featuring roasted vegetable antipasto, grilled sausage and onions and their Frankies meatballs with pine nuts and raisins, with one or two surprises in store.
On the music front, Andrew W.K., the token boy of party rock with songs like “Party Hard,” “It’s Time to Party” and “Party Party Party,” promises to bring the well, party, as he mans the music.
This last BBQ Blowout is looking to live up to its name.
