'Edward Scissorhands,' the musical
Tim Burton's beloved love story is getting its Brooklyn debut.
Tomorrow, Brooklyn Studio Lab presents a play version of "Edward Scissorhands" at the Bayard Studio Theatre in Williamsburg. According to the Times, it "still tells the story of an unusual young man struggling to fit into traditional suburban society."
The director, Richard Crawford, tells the paper that its a strictly low-budget affair, with the cast and crew pitching in "for the love of the art."
